Privacy Policy

Your personal data

I obtain information in two ways:

1. Anonymously: I use technologies on my website, such as cookies, to properly display the site to you, to analyse traffic to the site and to keep track of advertisements. This website is hosted by Squarespace, which collects personal data when you visit, such as your IP address, whether you are using a computer, a tablet or a phone, which country you are located and the pages you’ve accessed. Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalised form.

I may also share information about your use of the site with my advertising and analytics partner, Facebook. Facebook provides me with anonymised reports about who is seeing my ads and how they’re performing. They don’t share any information with me that personally identifies you, unless you give permission.

For information about viewing the cookies dropped on your device, visit About the cookies Squarespace uses and Facebook’s data policy and cookie policy.

Disabling cookies

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

2. Directly: This is the information I collect when you make a direct enquiry or purchase a photographic service. This is your name, email address and details about your event.

How is your information used?

I will use your information to communicate with you about your photography session or wedding and your data will never be sold or rented to any third party. Your data is stored securely on a purpose built database which only I (Originally Lauren Photography) have access to.

When you make an enquiry, the information you provide will be stored for six months before permanent deletion. For confirmed bookings, the information you provide will be stored for one year following the date of your photography session.

The images collected during your photography session will be stored on secure storage and securely backed up online.

On the occasion that you have booked a second photographer to attend the wedding, they will receive an itinerary of the day and your emergency contact details. This is will be deleted after the event.

I do use external suppliers to fulfil some parts of my contracted services to you. They are:

Shootproof - This is the website I use to email photography agreements and invoices so you can sign and submit them back to me. Your email, name, address and signature will be used. Without this, you won’t be able to book your wedding photography or photo shoot with me. Shootproof is also the online gallery I use to deliver your photographs and where you can view, download and order prints of your photographs.

Google Drive and Gmail – Your name, email address and any other information you freely provide through email or through the contact form on this site will be stored for contacting you, for my workflow.

Dropbox - I use Dropbox Business to securely back up your photographs.
